    Restaurant Information:

Michelin listed from 2005/6 and again from 2007/8, as one of the top Indian restaurants in the UK, Dilli is all about experiencing genuine vintage Indian cuisine ... possibly for the first time! Located in the centre of Altrincham and part of the group that includes the critically acclaimed Mela and Chowki restaurants in London, Dilli brings the real taste of India to South Manchester. The menu really is a world apart from your standard curry house fare, reflecting the entrepreneurial drive of owner Kuldeep Singh, voted one of the UK's top ten Indian chefs, and resident director Ravi Bajaj. For instance, one of the curries on offer is Lobster Pepper Fry - fresh lobster, treated with lime and turmeric, tossed in a peppery onion and fennel masala with cherry tomatoes, button onions and bell peppers, tempered with curry leaves. Starters are equally diverse. How about the Mussel Hara Hara - fresh mussels tossed in tomato, spring onion and garlic, flavoured with curry leaves and lemongrass. Dilli have also produced an excellent selection of Indian dishes available to takeaway customers - so why not order online from the menu available here and enjoy Indian cooking as you have never experienced before, in the comfort of your own home!
