  1. How to Order

    This couldn't be simpler - log in or sign up and follow the links



    How do I place an order online?
    1. Simply enter your postcode in the relevant box on our homepage.

    Note: This will return restaurants which serve your area, starting with the closest!

    2. Browse the list of restaurants or narrow your choice by using our restaurant browser. Select your preferred restaurant by clicking on the restaurant's name.

    3. If the restaurant is open for business, which will be clearly shown, you will be able to proceed with your order. Simply click through the menu categories on the left hand side; all menu items will be displayed in the central area of the web page. Select individual menu items by clicking on the price and then the add item button, either for collection or delivery (where applicable), on the next screen. You will be able to adjust quantities, if required. You will also see customized options and other attributes for that item.

    Note: Some customised options will incur an additional cost, which will be clearly shown. As you add items they are automatically added to the shopping cart at the top right of the web page.

    4. Checkout. Once your order meets the minimum requirements of your chosen restaurant, the green checkout button will appear in the shopping cart. If your order is complete, click checkout and proceed to provide your delivery address, if for delivery, and payment information. Finally, submit your order!

    Nosh-up.com instantly communicates your order in realtime to the restaurant. When the restaurant has successfully received your order on our dedicated device, a detailed order confirmation is sent to your email account and the restaurant begins to prepare your food.

    For changes to your order, we suggest contacting the restaurant directly. The relevant phone number is supplied in the confirmation email.

    Can food be ordered in advance?
    Yes, using our sophisticated 'Pre-Order' system. Your online order will be instantly communicated in the usual manner, however, an automatically generated reminder will ensure your order is handled in a timely fashion.

    Can Nosh-up.com place my order for me?
    No - it wouldn't be an online service if we did!

    Is there a minimum order?
    That will depend on the restaurant you choose - all the relevant details will be shown in the "Restaurant Information" section.

    What is the delivery range?
    Each restaurant that offers a delivery service displays their delivery range in the "Restaurant Information" section, so be sure to check this when ordering. Alternatively, you can limit your search results to restaurants that deliver to you by providing your postcode on our homepage.

    Will there be any delivery charges?
    It can vary. Please check the "Restaurant Information" section when you make your order; the details will be there.

    How long do orders take?
    It will vary from restaurant to restaurant and peak hours or particularly busy times will affect this, but the restaurant should let you know if orders will take longer than what can reasonably be expected of them. Check the "Restaurant Information" section for estimates.

    What happens if there are problems with my order?
    If you're concerned about your order, you will find the phone number of the restaurant in the confirmation email. Just give them a call and let us have your feedback for our quality control. You can do this by selecting our contact us link.

    What if I need to change or cancel my order?
    If you change your mind you'll have to contact the restaurant directly to see where they are up to with your order. If you have a problem contacting them please contact us - quoting your order number.

    What is a confirmation email?
    We will send this to you to confirm that your order has been successfully communicated to your chosen restaurant. It will detail useful information, such as an order summary and an estimate of when your order is likely to be delivered, or available for collection.

    What happens if I don't get a confirmation email?
    If the problem isn't at your end, then please contact us and we'll try to assist. You may need to check that your email account is not blocking our emails, or automatically treating them as spam.

    How do I pay for my order?
    Either by cash, cheque or credit/debit card - it depends on the restaurant you select.

    Which form of payment can I use?
    The "Restaurant Information" section for each restaurant contains a complete list of payment options accepted by that restaurant.

    What happens if my order was cancelled after I paid for it with my debit/credit card?
    Please contact us for any card transaction issues and we'll investigate it.

    I was charged for food that never came.
    Please contact us about any unfulfilled orders and we'll investigate it and arrange a credit if necessary.

    Is your website secure for making online payments?
    Yes, all transaction information is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates.
