That's why you'll never find our founder and owner, Catherine Lim, sitting high up in a city-centre office block counting profits and scrutinizing shares. Instead, she can be found every day at Ikan, from welcoming guests at our front door to scouring Manchester's Smithfield Market for the freshest ingredients and produce. And when she's not at the restaurant, Catherine's flying home to the Far East on fact-finding missions for the latest innovations in Thai cuisine, Chinese fusion and dim sum. We believe it's this attention to detail and authenticity, coupled with our passion for new and exciting food, that makes us one of Manchester's finest dining experiences.
